After many, many years at Dulwich Medical Centre, Russell Campbell, owner of Dulwich Physio, and the Dulwich Physio team have moved to 369 Lordship Lane!
As Russell explains “The business has been established for 30 years and needed a home of its own with greater visibility and to allow us greater autonomy.”
The refurbishment took time with the original shop stripped back to the walls and re-designed with accessibility and sustainability in mind; “I wanted wood instead of plasterboard for a timeless and calming perspective” and this is certainly the feedback clients are giving. One reminder of the shop’s history is the Post Office safe – concreted into the floor, it was decided to leave it there!
The move allows Dulwich Physio to provide an all-round Physiotherapy service. As well as the “hands-on” approach the team are known for, there is a Rehab gym where clients can complete exercises with free weights, TRX, weight machines and floor mats.
The new premises is on one level allowing for easier accessibility throughout, and with the clinic based on Lordship Lane there are a variety of transport links from public transport, e-bike and bike bays and free parking on Lordship Lane and the surrounding roads.
Having our own space means Dulwich Physio can offer more services; one being a Nutrition and Dietetics clinic with the very experienced Anita Beckwith. Anita specialises in general nutrition with a focus on Women’s Health (including Fertility) and Diabetes (pre, Type I and II).
Another service in the pipeline is 1-to-1 Reformer Pilates with Kay – more details to follow!
